Blog Update
As Portfolio Day nears, we interviewed our fellow classmates to give our guests an idea of the type of illustrators our department has to offer. We picked a variety of students from the 50 soon to be graduates to question them about inspiration, process, and interests. Check out the student interview page to see 18 individual interviews and samples of artwork.
We also videotaped some of the interviews. Check back soon to see clips from these sessions.

University of the Arts Portfolio Day
Portfolio Day is an annual event held by the Senior Illustration majors from University of the Arts. We invite art directors, designers, art buyers, and editors to come share our years of work in the hopes of developing our first professional relationship in illustration and design.
This year the event will take place at the Open House Gallery on Tuesday, May 19th, from 12-6 PM. The address is 201 Mulberry Street, New York, NY 10012. To learn more about the space check out their website at: http://www.openhousegallery.org/
We are all very excited about displaying our work here. Its a great space that will allow us to have our artwork also displayed in the store front window to entice more visitors.
